In 2006, the efforts of Community Health Charities translated to almost $69 million pledged nationwide to our member charities – funding important community education programs and services, research discoveries, and efforts to protect the rights of those confronting a health issue who need a voice. Community Health Charities is one of the most cost effective non-profit organizations, keeping its national overhead costs at just 6.6%.

Stories of Caring may be reproduced and published at the discretion of Community Health Charities with no assumption of compensation or liability assumed by the individual or group submitting the story.
