 Association for Non Smokers 29th Annual Garage Sale
May 18 – 19, 2012
Located at: 1647 Laurel, Saint Paul MN

Every Year, ANSR hosts a traditional garage & plant sale.
This is our only fund-raiser of the year, so your support is vital to ANSR and is tax deductible.

We accept almost everything (except clothes, furniture, exercise equipment, skis, curtain rods, tires, suitcases (unless mint), TV’s or computers).  We are especially in need of small items such as jewelry.  ANSR has limited storage space; please hold your items until our set up date on May 17th

Be The One Run – May 19th, Lake Harriet
Volunteers needed for various time between 5:00am – 1:00pm

You Have the Power to Heal

Be The One Run is a walk and run event for people of all ages and fitness levels.  It includes a 5k, a 1k and a Tot Trot.  Be The One Run unites communities nationwide determined to help patients with diseases like leukemia and lymphoma.  These loved ones search for a marrow donor and hope for a transplant.  To volunteer please sign up at www.betheonerun.org, click on the Minneapolis page and then go to the “volunteer” tab and sign up.

Minnesota AIDS Walk Volunteer – May 20th, Minnehaha Park
Volunteers needed from 6:30am – 3:00pm

Help make our 25th annual AIDS Walk a huge success!  Multiple roles available including but not limited to: Spirit Squads, decorating, set up and tear down, traffic monitors and more.  To register as a volunteer go to www.mnaidswalk.org.

 

 

American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure – June 2nd, Minnehaha Falls
Volunteers needed for many shifts starting Friday, June 1st, 12pm and concluding June 2nd at 5:00pm
There are numerous locations available throughout Minneapolis, St. Paul and the western suburbs.

The Tour is a ride, not a race with routes designed for everyone from the occasional rider to the experienced cyclist.  Whether you ride 10 miles or 100 miles, you will travel a route supported from start to finish with rest stops, food to fuel the journey and fans to cheer you on!  To volunteer go to www.diabetes.org/twincitiestourdecure and click on the volunteer button.
