WALK TO DEFEAT ALS - various locations

Three-mile, handicap-accessible walk:

Minneapolis Saturday, September 25, 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM

 

2 mile handicap accessible walk:

Fargo/Moorhead - Saturday, August 21,  9:00AM - 11:30AM 

Rochester Saturday, September 11, 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM 

Virginia –Saturday, September 11, 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM

St. Cloud – Saturday, September 18, 2010  9:00 AM - 11:30 AM

The Walk to Defeat ALS brings people together and educates them about ALS and raises funds for patient services and research.  Participants collect donations and pledges and can walk as an individual or as a part of a team.  Register online or the day of the walk.  Snacks and entertainment provided.

Volunteers Needed Day of Walk:   7:30 a.m. – Noon

Setup, advocacy letters, decorating, food, photography, T-shirt distribution, bracelet sales, walk signs, cheering, and clean up.

Larry Sing Memorial Golf Tournament – 

Monday, August 23, 2010  10:00AM - 9:00PM 

Fargo, ND

Teams of 4 compete in an 18-hole best ball tournament on 2 courses. Day concluded with dinner and a live and silent auction. Pre-registation required. $200
