The Association for Nonsmokers-Minnesota offers the following resources for employers and the community at large:
Employer Resources
- Promotes smoke-free workplaces for all sectors.
- Assistance in developing workplace policies related to tobacco.
- Online resources:

- Questions and Answers about Policies regulating Smoking in the Workplace
- Presentations:
- Tobacco Free Youth Recreation program
- Protecting Kids from Smoke
- Health fair participation.
- Advocacy for blue-collar and manufacturing workers who remain unprotected from second hand smoke.
Community Resources
- Advocacy supporting smoke-free restaurants to protect the employees as well as patrons.

- Works with communities to develop local tobacco ordinances.
- Initiative to reduce the illegal sale of tobacco to minors.
- Tobacco-Free Youth Recreation (TFYR), a statewide program which models tobacco-free lifestyles for young people involved in community-based organized recreation programs for youth ages 12 to 17. TFYR helps to:
- Establish tobacco-free policies for coaches, spectators, and other adults.
- Create Tobacco-Free Zones.
- Promote positive health messages from coaches, parents, teens, and other role
models.
