The mission of United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Minnesota is to advance the independence, productivity, and full citizenship of people with cerebral palsy and similar disabilities. They strive to address the needs of people with cerebral palsy and their families and ensure that people with cerebral palsy are considered for the person they are, not the condition they have or the technology they use.

UCP is the leading source of information on cerebral palsy and is a pivotal advocate for the rights of persons with any disability. In fact, 65 percent of people served by UCP have disabilities other than cerebral palsy.
